Visitors to BIG4 Anglesea Holiday Park have a new way to warm up this winter, with the opening of a brand new $1 million indoor heated pool complex. Custom designed for BIG4 Anglesea Holiday Park, the new facility opened just in time for families to enjoy a splash in the cooler months.
The new water complex, located just off Victoria’s Great Ocean Road, boasts a large swimming pool, a toddler splash area with interactive ground sprays, a slide and an impressive waterfall topped with rainforest plants. Suitable for all ages, the water temperature is heated to 30 degrees year round, so guests can enjoy a day at the pool no matter how chilly the weather is outside.
It took builders 8 months to complete the indoor water complex but it seems the new facility was well worth the wait. Tim Bone, owner of BIG4 Anglesea Holiday Park, is enthusiastic about the new facility and hope to welcome many new guests who can now enjoy the child-friendly activities in winter.
“We all know kids would jump in no matter what the temperature, but because the complex is heated year round Mum and Dad can join in the fun and enjoy the warm water too,” added Tim.
“Our guests love the new indoor heated pool complex. The little ones are particularly fond of the waterfall and slide,” said Tim.
The new water park complements the holiday park’s existing family-friendly facilities including an outdoor adventure playground, jumping pillow, Go-Karts, indoor toddler play room and giant chess board.
Families can also enjoy a range of stylish and functional accommodation including three bedroom units which sleep up to six people. All units at BIG4 Anglesea Holiday Park boast a living area and fully-equipped kitchen, making holiday cooking for the troops a breeze.
