  1. How my husband converted from “I hate caravans” and “you’ll never catch me in one”: I arrived home with a new caravan in tow ten years ago. He said “caravans are for gypsies”. It sat in the yard for a year when, out of the blue, he suggested we take it on a golfing weekend away with friends. After 2 nights in it, including inviting our friends (also non-caravaners) to champagne in the van, and waking on the morning of departure he said “wouldn’t it be great to have just another night here”. YES … (air punch) … he was hooked … victory to the vans! Now he loves it and tells everyone who will listen.

  2. Couldn’t agree more. We even tell our caravan how much we love it and say “We love you van”. The best fun ever!

  3. Love being away with our van. I count the time I am home in days……there is always another adventure on the horizon. There is just so much to see out there!! Happy travelling to all.

  4. After spending two years talking my wife into getting a caravan I can happily say that I had a smile as big as could be when reading your 10 things only a caravanner would get!
    Roll on .
