1. Hunter Valley Wine & Food Festival, Hunter Valley, NSW

There’s a whole two months to celebrate the immense quality of this famous wine region. Indulge to your heart’s content through a series of events and activities that includes masterclasses, vineyard tours, food and wine trails, and more. Delicious!

2. Relish, Maryborough, QLD

Relish in all that the Fraser Coast region offers the palate at this classic food and wine festival. Sample top-notch wine from regional wineries (as well as beer), tuck into ample local produce, and witness cooking demonstrations from leading chefs among other treats.

When: 4 June.

3. City Wine, Perth WA

The best of Western Australia’s boutique wines make their way to the state capital for this two-day celebration, held in a pop-up venue in the heart of Perth. Tasty tapas satisfies an appetite and live entertainment adds to the vibrant atmosphere.

4. Sea & Vines, McLaren Vale, SA

One of South Australia’s best wine regions comes alive for a long weekend of fun, festivities, and a feast of flavours. A string of enthralling events – including some catering to families – demonstrates why this region warrants the many accolades it receives.

5. Winery Walkabout, Rutherglen, VIC

Hurry in to grab tickets to a gig that is clearly among Australia’s biggest wine festivals. The Walkabout boasts a 40-plus-year history and incorporates almost 20 wineries and a barrel-load of events. It all makes for a weekend of pure indulgence.

6. Winter Wine Weekend, Mornington Peninsula, VIC

Warm up this winter long weekend with a prized festival that showcases the amazing wines of this renowned region. Almost 50 wineries are included in this two-part event, and there’s loads of tempting tucker to get stuck into as well.

7. Truffle Kerfuffle, Manjimup, WA

Now into its sixth year, this buzzing gig celebrates truffle season in an area regarded as Australia’s truffle capital. There’s more events than you could poke a stick at, which makes for one almighty satisfying weekend.

When: 24-26 June.
